Heavenly Father I praise You for loving me in my weakness. I praise You for loving me when I fail. Most of all I praise You for loving me when I was a sinner and did not know You. I praise You for coming to me and prompting my heart to see the salvation You offered to me. I praise You for adopting me into Your family and allowing me to serve You in building Your kingdom.
Holy Spirit I ask for healing for Rob and Jim who have cancer, for Trinity who still is fighting issues after receiving a new heart. I pray that You would fully heal Kayla and let her witness continue to grow and shine for You.
Holy Spirit Your word tells me, “My beloved brothers [and sisters], be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain. So, watch, stand fast in the faith, be bold like men, and be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.” [1 Cor. 15:58; 16:13&14] I come to You and ask that my labor be honest and full of love. Help me to be a worker for You first and my employers second. Help me to live a life as a living sacrifice for You so that I can not only do Your will but be a witness to others of Your love and mercy. Help me to never be slack in my labors so that I cause grumbling against the brethren, but work with joy of serving You. Teach me to be bold and strong, but to do all I do with love.
Holy Spirit help me to stand against all the storms of life and to not move when I am planted to grow in a place or time. Help me to look to You in all situations and to not give ground to the enemy because of fear, anger, bitterness or hate. Help me to have a faith and trust that goes beyond my reasoning and helps me stay in the center of Your will and love. Help me to choose my words wisely and to make smart choices with the influence of the Holy Spirit. Help me to understand that other people who offend or try to cause trouble with me are not my enemy for they have no control over my destination to be with You unless I let them. My enemy is the accuser, Satan, help me to use all of my spiritual armor to defend myself from his attacks and help me to stand in the center of Your will so that You fight my battles.
Holy Spirit in all that I do, all that I am, and all that I think, be pleasing to You. Help me to desire what You desire, see what You see, to love with Your kind of forgiving love. Help me to live a life that is so focused on You and Your will that I am blind to the temptation of sin and too busy to be coerced into taking a wrong path or direction. In Jesus’ name, amen.
