Heavenly Father, “I will rejoice in You as long as I can breathe. I will do my best to help everyone come to know and understand Your gentleness. That You are ever present. [Philippians 4:4-5] I praise You for Your word and for Your Holy Spirit to guide and comfort me. Help me today to take command of my day and shake the evil from it.
Holy Spirit, help me to be anxious for nothing, but in everything in prayer and supplication with gratitude, I will make my requests, concerns, and desires known to You. I live with the expectation that Your peace, which is well pass my comprehension and understanding, that You will protect my heart and mind. [Philippians 4:6&7]
Holy Spirit, I will follow the advice Paul gave when he wrote: Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. [Philippians 4:8]
And this is my prayer: let my love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that I may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Amen. Philippians 1:9-11
