Renewing and Being Strong

Heavenly Father I praise You for giving me joy, which is the foundation of my faith and strength to face each day. I praise You for being a personable God who walks with me daily and through the Holy Spirit speaks to my Spirit and whispers encouragement while You sing over me. I praise You for the opportunity to sing praises to You for it helps emboldened my soul to join with brothers and sisters to sing from our hearts to You.

I will be strong and not let my hands be weak because I know You will reward me for my work. I will not lose my heart. Though my outer self is wasting away, my inner self is being renewed day by day. I will be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that my labor is not in vain in You. I understand what Paul wrote and take it to heart: Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. I remember what Nehemiah said to the children of Israel and is important to us also: for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is our strength.” [2 Chronicles 15:7; 2 Corinthians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:58; Galatians 6:7-10; Nehemiah 8:10]

You are righteous in everything You do, You are filled with kindness. You are close to all who call on You, yes, to all who call on You in truth. You grant the desires of those who fear You; You hear their cries for help and rescue them. You protect all those who love You, but You destroy the wicked. I will praise the Lord, and may everyone on earth bless Your Holy name forever and ever. Amen. [Psalm 145:17-21]
