Praying for the Youth for Christ

Heavenly Father I praise You for organizations like Youth for Christ who are out there trying to reach the next generation for You. I praise You for Youth leaders and volunteers who give up so much time to demonstrate love to teens. I praise You for the breakfast club on Friday mornings at the high school where YFC and churches can come in before school and feed teens breakfast.  

Holy Spirit I come to the throne room before Jesus through You. I stand on the scripture that says: Hebrews 4:16—Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. I come with a petition from the Blue Lakes Thumb Youth for Christ group that are in Florida at a camp with many teens. I pray that Your Spirit will speak through the leaders there and reach into the hearts of the teens and change them so they come back seeking to grow in wisdom. Let this time witness and testify to them of who You are and why You love them. Give strength, boldness, compassion, courage, and wisdom to the leaders so they can represent You in such a complete way that they will shine Your light and Spirit onto the teens. Give them a safe and good time this week and then give them a safe trip back. Put Your hedge of protection around them and keep them from evil and harm.  

For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen the Youth for Christ Camp in Florida with power through his Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. And I pray that they, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able, to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
