Heavenly Father, I praise You for the people You have had be part of my life along my journey. I praise You for the time I spent getting to know Midge and her family, and for her faith in You. I praise You for each day You give to us to live, serve, love, and grow. I praise You for my salvation at the age of 16 and how You have helped me grow over the past 44 years. Help me today to honor You.
Holy Spirit, I lift up Midge, who has just been diagnosed with Bell's Palsy and also has an issue with her esophagus. She was looking at brain surgery at the stem for both problems, but has elected not to have the surgery. She is currently with hospice and family. I know You have her in Your hands, and if You choose, You can heal her here or take her home to be permanently healed. I ask for grace and mercy for her family and that You will give the children and grandchildren wisdom, comfort, and understanding of her choices. Let Your glory be seen and shared during this time.
