Number Ten

Heavenly Father, I give You praise for today and for my salvation. I give You Glory. Whether I feel it or not, You walk with me.

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” [Exodus 20:17] To my knowledge, I have never desired what my neighbor has. I may feel at times that I have not achieved what I felt I should, but I do not focus this on anyone else. I also adhere to Your word when it says, “For we dare not count or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. They who measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another are not wise.” [2 Corinthians 10:12]

Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain! [1Chronicles 4:9&10] Let the words I speak bring life, not death; salvation, not ruin. Help my actions be righteous, and that as I humbly live, I serve You with all my heart, mind, and soul. With my name written Your book of life, so that I may one day come home and live in heaven with You. Amen.
