Holy Spirit I understand that I am a temple of God and that I need to be careful I do not defile it. Help me as I am being a living sacrifice for You, and I am constantly working with Your help to renew my mind so that I can stand before You with an open and clean heart. For You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and self-control so that I can stand unashamed of the testimony of who You are in me, and I will learn to share in the sufferings of the gospel by the power of God, who has saved me and called me with a holy calling. Through my salvation and becoming fully Christ I have the anointing of Your Spirit and I grow in wisdom daily learning who You are and how You love and desire more for my life than I have been already. I hear, read, and speak Your truth because it is a part of who I am. I bear witness to this truth and I know that lies and confusion are of the devil and his schemes to insnare me with sin. Holy Spirit I ask that as a living temple, You reside in me and constantly help me to keep my temple clean and useful. Prompt me, speak to me, or show me what I must do each day so that I am a doer of the word and a living, shining star that glorifies God. Help me to grow in wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and discernment so that I can fulfill the purpose I was created for and that I will not only be in the center of God’s will, but I will be the apple of His eye. Help me to pray with conviction, faith, sincerity, humility, meekness but most of all with power aligned with Your will. Help me to pray daily for the prisoners I work with, pray for those who have requested healing, and for those who need to be reenergized by You. Help me to become the man I am supposed to be and to grasp the mantle and go forth doubly blessed. I know I will suffer, I will face trials, I will face hard times, but I also know You walk with me. I have stared at death more than 7 times in my life already and I am still here attempting to do Your will. Give me strength, wisdom, and self-control as storms, trials, and temptations are blasted at me. Let me always turn to You, for nothing is impossible for You.
Let me continually offer the sacrifice of praise to You, oh God, that is, the fruit of my lips, giving thanks to Your name. Help me not to forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices You are well pleased. I will do my best to obey those who rule over me and be submissive for they watch out for my soul, and they will give account for how they lead. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for me. For I am confident that I have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially am urged to do this. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make me complete in every good work to do His will, working in me what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
