Heavenly Father I praise You for setting into place universal truths, gravity that keeps us from floating away. The earth rotates around the sun at just the correct distance to sustain life. The moon rotates around the earth so that we have high and low tides and keeps the weather moving. I praise You for the example of the farmer who plants a good seed and then weeds his garden so that he harvests a good crop.
Holy Spirit Your word says: Do not be deceived: God can not be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. [Galatians 6:7] Holy Spirit help me to sow the good seeds of wisdom each day into my life. Help me to water that wisdom by gaining Spiritual knowledge from You, from Your word, and the testimonies and writings of other saints. Help me to weed my garden of life by demonstrating understanding and getting discernment from Your Spirit so that I do not allow the weeds of sin to find any foothold in my soil.
Holy Spirit help me to sow encouragement, wisdom, and prayer into the life of my wife and the lives of my children and their children. Help me to pray for my wife and with my wife as often as I can. Help me to pray for understanding, and to see her point of view from Your perspective so that we can become one in You. Help me to listen and help my children become adults who can walk with integrity, kindness, wisdom, and discernment. Help me to build into their lives who You are and why You should be in their lives. Please help me to be an example, an encourager, and an advisor to my grandchildren. Help me to be an intercessor for them as You are for me. Help me to surround them with the showers of prayer daily, building up hedges of protection for them. Help me to plant seeds of encouragement and the need for Your salvation into others. Help me to plant seeds of wisdom into my brothers and sisters so that their gardens can grow and be diverse.

Praise be to You, God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed me in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose me in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love, he predestined me to be adopted as his son through Jesus, in accordance with His pleasure and will—to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given me in the One He loves. In Him, I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on me with all wisdom and understanding. And He made known to me the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. In Him I was also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, so that I, who has the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory. And I also was included in Christ when I heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation. Having believed, I am marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing my inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
