Heavenly Father, I praise You today for saving me, lifting me, guiding me, dwelling with me through Your Holy Spirit, and giving me the ultimate example of Christ to try to use as my role model for life. I praise You for teaching me to see things spiritually, even when I cannot see them physically. Continue to sweep and clean my heart so that I stand blameless before You.
Holy Spirit, You inspired Zephaniah to write: “The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One, who will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will renew you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” [Zephaniah 3:17, MEV] I feel in awe that You would rejoice over me and sing over me. I am so honored that I bring gladness to You. I deeply desire to continually be renewed by Your love. Help me to grow in hope, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment so that I can pay attention to the lamp before my feet so I do not stumble as I journey through life. I seek to bear my scars in life as reminders of Your mercy and grace, and that You call me as one of Your children. Renew my mind and help me to keep it set on You. Teach me daily to offer up my life as a living sacrifice so that Your Spirit can dwell within this living temple and serve You with all my heart. Help me to fulfill the prophecy of Christ by doing even more than He was able to do while here on the earth. Let me grow strong and bold so that I pray prayers that get Your attention and prove that You do the impossible, so that the world may see Your glory fully on display.
The Lord is faithful, who will establish me and guard me from the evil one. And I have confidence in the Lord, both that I do and will do the things He commands me to do. Now may the Lord direct my heart into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. And may the Lord of peace himself give me peace at all times and in every way.
