How They Know You Are God's

Heavenly Father, I praise You for involving us in all your plans. I praise You for the ability to choose You as my Savior and King. I praise You for loving us enough that You sent Your Son to die and rise again and then leave the Holy Spirit here with us so that we can daily enter Your throne room through prayer.

Holy Spirit Your word says: Little children, let no one deceive you. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous. The one who commits sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s works. Everyone who has been born of God does not sin, because his seed remains in him; he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God. This is how God’s children and the devil’s children become obvious. Whoever does not do what is right is not of God, especially the one who does not love his brother or sister. [1 John 3:7-10]

Holy Spirit help me to live my life so that all will know where I stand. Help me to testify of all You do, love as You have loved me, forgive as You have forgiven me, and walk and act with righteousness as my goal and guide. Help me to listen well, speak much less, and to be extremely slow to anger.

I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. God, whom I serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times. I long to impart on you some spiritual gift to make you strong—that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. For in the gospel righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith. Amen. (Romans 1:8-17)
