Heavenly Father, I thank You for sending Jesus to live among us and to teach us how we should live, think, and do. I thank You for creating me with a mind that can reason, contemplate, and know right and wrong. I praise You for allowing Your Holy Spirit to daily commune with me and to use me to be His temple to stand as an example before my community. Help me to be better about how I live and in serving You while I fulfill the purpose You created me for.
Holy Spirit, You inspired Paul to teach us: whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. David wrote: May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. [Philippians 4:8, Psalms 19:14] Help me to be a living sacrifice for You daily so that I can keep my focus on You, Your will, and the family. Do not let the chaos of this world, its media, its sinfulness, hate, anger, and anxiousness invade or
interfere with my hope and faith. Let me keep what is important to you to understand who I am.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen (Matthew 6:9-13)
