Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your word and for giving me wisdom through it and experience. I praise You for being a God I can trust and lay all at Your feet, no matter how big or small the petition is. I praise You for teaching me that it is not man that I fight, but Satan, sin, and anything that stands against You. I ask that You put a hedge of protection around my family today, help me to take command of my day, and shake all evil from it as You taught Job.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. I will watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. All that I do will be done with love. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of my warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. For the Lord my God is the one who goes with me to fight for me against my enemies to give me victory. [Psalm 16:8; 1Corinthians
16:13; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Deuteronomy 20:4] I will stand as Elisha and Peter, Paul and other disciples against the true enemy of faith and pray with unwavering conviction that God still reigns and that victory is His. I will pray to protect and win hearts for Him. I pray for those of my loved ones who do not know or have walked away from God that they might find salvation and trust in You, the one true God. I pray for their minds to be clear, their eyes to be open to see and their hearts to know what is true, so that they can choose You. I bind bitterness, apathy, rebellion, hate, and any form of witchcraft that may be attacking my love ones whom You know their names, and I loose onto them Your love, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, healing and discernment so that they can turn from their ways and follow You. I stand today with all who pray with me in the gap for these loved ones so that I can faithfully show my love for them and for You. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, O Lord, my redeemer and my savior. Let me stand boldly like Caleb, with assurance like Peter and Paul, with wisdom like Daniel, and pray with all that is within me. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
