Heavenly Father I come to You in prayer today with many concerns and thoughts. I praise You for being a God who stands by His word and desires a relationship with His creation. I completely believe that You created all that I know to be the reality of this world, universe and beyond. I believe nothing is invisible to You and I understand that Your thoughts are not my thoughts.
Holy Spirit I have faith that You are able to heal, lead and help anyone as long as it falls within the Father’s will. I also believe that Your word which says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” [Matthew 7:7-12; James 4:10; James 5:13-15] So with this said I come into Your throne room with the assistance of the Holy Spirit to lay before the feet of Jesus my intercessor the following petitions with faith, I ask for healing for Kayla, Jim, my father, my daughter and grandchildren, the two girls that were raped a couple of years ago, Eva, and some others I can’t put here. I also pray for salvation and reconnection for a very close loved one to know You once again and truly learn that You not only love them but completely forgive them. Holy Spirit I pray for some who are children of dear friends of mine who have strayed from the teachings of their youth and have allowed Satan to enter their hearts through rebellion, lust, addiction, and foolishness. I pray for a dear friend who has suffered tremendous loss and has slowly picked up the pieces to have a life again. I pray for wise choices for my son, daughter, and son-in-law. I pray for the health, wellness, growth, and learning of my three grandchildren. I pray for my church, that it will grow in the power of prayer, in faith, and become more like the first church in Acts that learned to pray with faith that would see miracles, wonders, and healings.
Holy Spirit help me to daily put on my spiritual armor and enter the war through prayer where the battlefield is. Let the helmet of salvation control and protect my thoughts, desires, will, and emotions. Let the breastplate of righteousness protect my heart, my character, and my reputation as a child of God. Let my shoes of peace constantly lead me down the path that You have specifically for me, demonstrating love, grace, forgiveness, and mercy to all that I come in contact with. Let me gird myself with the belt of truth so that I am honest to all I speak to, confront, lead, or follow. Finally, let me use the sword of the Spirit to allow the Holy Spirit to convict people and help me to carry it with the sharpness of wisdom and discernment so that I vigorously attack my day with prayer, testimony, and worship.
Let the words I speak, the prayers I give to You, and the faith I seek be the full living sacrifice that You expect of me daily and help me to constantly renew my mind so that my focus, my will, my desires all align themselves with You and Your will. In all things let Your will be done. Amen.
