Doing My Part in Your Creation

Heavenly Father, I give You praise for today and for this week. You have helped me grow, learn, and fellowship with other believers to strengthen my resolve in how I must live. I praise You for being a God who wants a relationship with me, even though I fail, am not always good, and forget to talk to You sometimes. You still desire me and hold me in the palm of Your hand. Help me today to take command of my day so that You can shake all the evil out of it.

Holy Spirit, Your word records Christ saying, “Love the Lord Your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” [Matthew 22:37(CSB)] Help me today to love You with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind so that I can be in Unity with Your Spirit. Help me to be the living sacrifice that You desire as I walk this earth as one of Your living temples. Help me to constantly be renewing my mind by focusing on what is good and right. Help me to see with eyes that see Your creation and what my responsibilities are living within it. Help me to love as You do. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my

heart be acceptable to You, My God, my Creator, Redeemer, and my Rock on which I stand. [Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 3:16&17, Psalm 19:14] Help me to prove Christ right when He said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” [John 14:12-14] I ask for wisdom to navigate my day, knowledge to grow in Your word and Your way, understanding so that I can apply the wisdom and knowledge to serve You with all that I have and discernment to understand when evil is threatening me or my family, to know when others need help or when You are revealing to me prophesy that I need to be aware of.

Let me continually offer the sacrifice of praise to You, oh God, that is, the fruit of my lips, giving thanks to Your name. Help me not to forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices You are well pleased. I will do my best to obey those who rule over me, and be submissive, for they watch

out for my soul, and they will give account for how they lead. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for me. For I am confident that I have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially am urged to do this. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make me complete in every good work to do His will, working in me what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:14-21)
