Heavenly Father I praise You for the privilege of being a living temple for You where there is no veil or altar for animal sacrifices. Still, there is the indwelling of Your Spirit to move, prompt, instruct, and cleanse me daily so I can truly be Your conduit to the world. Let me, as a living temple live in a way that always glorifies, announces, and shines light on Your salvation and kingdom.
Holy Spirit, Christ said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation. Nor will they say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘There it is!’ For remember the kingdom of God is within you.” [Luke 17:20] As Your word has explained, I am a living temple, a living sacrifice, and one who attempts to renew my mind daily so that I can learn, know, understand, and respond to Your will. Through prayer, I open the door for Your kingdom to flow through me to others daily. As a temple, Your Spirit resides with me to breathe into me and through me to others. Help me to grasp the importance that I am the door between the spiritual and physical. Use me to reach the world. Help me to stand grounded in Your truth, filled with Your love, taught in Your wisdom, and flowing with Your Spirit. Let my heart be the old hand pump that is used to bring forth water for people to drink deeply of the cold refreshing reality of Your Spirit. Help me to be faithful to be a watchman for my family and community, fulfilling my responsibilities as a watchman, and being a participant in uniting in prayer so that Your house is a place of prayer for this world and all who live on it.
I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]
